Beef Goulash

Ingredients:

1 1/2lbs braising steak
1lb tomatoes, skinned & chopped
2 onions, sliced
2 oz butter
1 tablespoon paprika
2 fl oz beef stock

salt and pepper
5 fl oz sour cream
fresh parsley, chopped

 

Method:

Melt butter in a pan, add beef & fry for 5 - 8 mins, until browned.

Add onions, paprika and salt and pepper to taste.

Stir in tomatoes and stock and cover, simmering for 1 1/2 - 2 hrs, until beef is tender.

Serve topped with sour cream and parsley.
